Terms of Use

These terms are a simple agreement between you and us for using FreshLife. Please take a minute to read them before you begin; continuing to use the app means you’ve read and accepted them.

1. What FreshLife is

FreshLife is a local kitchen tool: it helps you manage your pantry, reminds you before things expire, suggests meals from what’s on hand, organizes your shopping list, and offers optional AI assistance. Features evolve from version to version, and optional online features may be unavailable for a while.

2. Your responsibility

Whatever the app or the AI says, the safer practice before eating is to check the food itself: its actual condition, storage, allergens and packaging. FreshLife does not provide medical, diagnostic or emergency advice.

3. About AI

The current version (1.0.0) does not enable remote AI. On-device recognition and local meal suggestions can be incomplete or wrong — check each suggestion before saving or using it. If a future version enables remote AI, it will be off by default, ask for your clear permission first, and follow the published privacy policy.

4. Fair use

Please don’t misuse the app or related services: no unauthorized access, no interfering with the service, and no submitting content you don’t have the right to handle.

5. Availability and warranty

FreshLife is provided in accordance with applicable law, and we don’t promise that every feature will be uninterrupted or error-free. Mandatory consumer rights under applicable law are unaffected.

6. Data and devices

Data is mainly stored on your device — please take care of your device and system backups. Deleting the app, clearing local data or a device failure can cause data loss; the export options available today depend on the actual version.

7. Intellectual property

The FreshLife name, interface, original content and software belong to their rights holders and are protected by law. Without authorization, please don’t copy, modify, sell or use them in misleading ways.

8. Changes to these terms

When features, laws or service providers change, we may update these terms. Please check this page for the latest version before continuing to use the app.
