FreshLife Community · A place to grow

Share a meal.
Find your people.

A meal, a walk, something old put to good use. We hope these ordinary moments help people from different places meet, understand one another and make everyday life a little better together.

We plan to pilot the community in mainland China first; cities and dates are not set. Posting, event sign-ups, competitions, organized trips and physical collection are not open yet. There is nothing to pay for, and please do not send us items.

Everyday life

Different rhythms. Common ground.

There is no single “right” way to live well. Start with what matters to you and meet people who care about similar things.

A meal and a drink, made for today

Share home cooking, favourite drinks, food-storage tips and ways to waste less. If a product claims to be organic or healthier, look for reliable information rather than letting a label decide for us.

Move, explore, and make time to rest

Walks, rides, runs, city outings and short trips can all happen at different paces. If we organize events or friendly challenges, routes, costs and ways to join will be clear. No comparing bodies, speeds or streaks.

Movement & meeting
Events · Trips · Challenges

Help useful things last a little longer

Repair what you can and pass along what someone else could use. Sort the rest according to local rules. Any future collection event would name the recipient, accepted materials and destination; a personal sorting note alone is not proof of recycling.

Taking part

From interested to ready to go.

This is how participation might work in the future, not an event already on the calendar. Every step should help you know what comes next.

  1. Find something you like

Perhaps a neighbourhood walk, a shared meal or an item swap. Read about it first; there is no need to rush into signing up.

  2. Know the details

Who is running it, where it is, what it costs, how accessible it is, what happens in bad weather and how to cancel should all be clear before you decide. Food events should list known allergens.

  3. Choose how to join

Signing up and sharing would be your choice. We would explain what information is needed, who can see it and how to leave. Your pantry would never be posted automatically.

  4. Hear what happened next

We would report results honestly, with ways to raise concerns and correct errors. Where items go would be verified only with receipt and processing evidence.

A welcoming place still needs boundaries.

Respect different bodies, budgets and ways of life. No harassment or sharing someone else's private information. Food, movement and health experiences are welcome, but personal stories must not become treatment promises. Ads and partnerships should be labelled. Reporting, review and appeal rules must be ready before discussion opens.

ESG and FreshLife

Put care into the way we work.

ESG stands for Environmental, Social and Governance. The letters sound formal, but the questions are familiar: Do we use resources carefully? Do we treat people well? Can we explain our rules and results? ESG is not an “eco certificate”, and a slogan alone proves nothing.

Environmental

Waste less before talking about recycling. Any claim about recovered materials or emissions needs a scope, method and evidence. Unknown destinations stay pending.

Social

Make room for different abilities, budgets and households. Protect privacy, consider event safety and respect the work of partners.

Governance

Say who is responsible and publish rules, fees and reward conditions up front. Leave room for feedback and correction. A plan should never be presented as a result.

An old cup, for example

From “I did it” to “we know what happened”.

A personal note can help us remember an action. It is not yet an outcome. Results need to be checked step by step.

Your noteI sorted an old cup
This is a personal record. It can say “sorted”, but not that FreshLife has collected it.
Recipient confirmationA partner confirms receipt
The recipient, time and accepted amount are recorded. It is now “received”; the final destination is still unknown.
Processing evidenceThe destination is documented
The processor describes the actual route and result. We show “verified” only with complete evidence; otherwise it stays pending.

Open progress · Reporting framework

Share the ambition, and leave the gaps visible.

This is a framework for future reporting, not an assured ESG report. FreshLife has no verified physical collection, emissions reduction or health outcome figures to publish today.

Environment · Food

Use well before discarding

Now: people can record food and actual use on their own device. Private records are not platform impact figures.

Future disclosure: consented, verifiable scope, a definition of food loss, sample and missing data. Treating scraps does not erase food waste.

Environment · Materials

Count collection and recovery separately

Now: sorting guidance is available; physical collection is closed, so there are no verified intake or recovery quantities.

Future disclosure: by material, show accepted and rejected amounts, processing route, actual output and residue destination, with batch evidence and reporting period.

Social · Wellbeing and access

Make room for different people

Now: everyday care tools and gentle movement ideas are available. Community events are not open, and we do not claim improved health outcomes.

Future disclosure: accessibility checks, event safety and cancellation plans, feedback and appeals, with personal health data protected.

Governance · Responsibility

Explain and correct

Now: live tools and future plans are labelled separately, alongside privacy, terms and contact information.

Future disclosure: report boundary, data owners, partner checks, method changes and correction history. Unverified items stay unverified.

Our reporting principle: name the period, place and participation scope first; then explain sources, confirmation and omissions. Self-reports, recipient intake and final processing are separate. Without a reliable baseline, we cannot calculate “avoided emissions”.

Start today

Take care of one thing close to home.

We hope for a life where food is valued, movement fits different bodies, useful things stay in use, and people from everywhere feel welcome. Start with a meal or one small act of care today. Community activities and collection will open only when the people, places and evidence are ready.
