FreshLife · everyday food

Eat a little more comfortably,
one meal at a time.

You do not have to measure every bite. Begin with variety, how you feel and what you need today.

A few gentle starting points

Make choices easier.

A meal need not be perfect

Across the day, aim for a variety of foods. Vegetables, fruit, whole grains and beans can often be part of that choice. Start with what is available and affordable.

Eat and move at your own pace

Regular meals, water and activity suited to your body can support everyday wellbeing. One meal or workout is not a score.

Read the label first

For packaged foods, look at ingredients and the nutrition table, including energy and sodium. Check whether values are per 100 g, per 100 ml or per serving before comparing.

What did this meal contain?

Add each food’s label values and the amount actually eaten. Missing nutrients remain unknown. This is not a personal calorie target.

We convert approximately 4.184 kJ to 1 kcal. “Salt equivalent” is estimated from sodium; it is not the salt added while cooking.

Entries stay on this page only; refreshing clears them. Check serving size on “per serving” labels. A carton, bottle and serving are different measures. Using up pantry stock does not mean someone ate it.

    Different bodies, different days

Care for the person in front of you.

    Periods and pregnancy

Warm drinks or comforting food may be pleasant during a period, but no food is guaranteed to relieve pain. During pregnancy, discuss food safety and supplements with qualified prenatal care; generic forbidden-food lists are unreliable.

    Children and older adults

Age, swallowing, chewing, allergies and medical conditions affect suitable food textures. Caregivers should consult age-specific official guidance. Older adults can adapt texture and seek professional support when eating is difficult.

    Activity and chronic conditions

Exercise, medication and conditions change individual needs. This page offers general information, not a prescription meal plan or medical diagnosis. Seek qualified care for persistent pain, concerning symptoms or specific restrictions.
